Welcome to the AAC Women's Blog
I am so excited to be able to introduce you to our new blog! Previously our site was called Haven Help Us, but now we have redesigned and re-launched it along with our new AAC Website in order to better reflect who we are and make connecting with us that much easier.
We know how difficult it can be to connect with one another due to busy schedules and responsibilities. There are days the kids wake up sick or demands of the job and family take precedence. Life happens. Sometimes we all just wish for an easy button. Hopefully our online community and our blog site can provide you with some of the connection and support you need.
An important way we expect to accomplish this is by sharing life stories from women who attend, volunteer or work here at Appleton Alliance Church. Our goal is to help you find connections with women in our faith community you might not otherwise know.
We will also offer devotionals and teachings from some of our gifted writers and teachers here at AAC to encourage you with godly wisdom and insight. We want to figure out together what a Christ filled life looks like in the messiness and even brokenness of living in this world.
Sometimes we will highlight posts from nationally known Christian women and leaders as well as some of our mission and international workers so that we can more broadly connect with our faith community around the world.
Got Questions? Click on our resource tab for some online references you can use to help you find some of the solutions you are looking for.
I hope you will find this website to be a place of fellowship, encouragement and guidance as we journey together on our faith walk. To stay up-to-date on our posts and other news from AAC Women’s Ministry, please follow us on Facebook and subscribe by email to receive our posts every Monday in your inbox.
Thank you for joining us on this faith-filled adventure. Blessings from our homes to yours!

MEET THE REAL WOMEN
Judy Episcopo — Women's Ministry Director
I love being a wife, a mom and grandmother. I am also one of those people who like cold pizza for breakfast. But this is something I really want you to know about me: I love being involved with Women's Ministries. It allows me to have a front row seat into how God is at work in lives of women. We have amazing women at Appleton Alliance Church and I can't wait for you to meet some of them. The goal of this blog is that you will not only appreciate hearing about them, but you will also come to see yourself as part of this amazing faith community of women as well.
Tera Lind — Adult Ministries Assistant
I am a proud wife of a red-bearded-Christ-lovin'-man. I may be recognized for my strong affection with sugary cereal, which I have been known to eat three meals a day. I am a big kid at heart and love to dance, shoot archery, and teach women and children about the Bible. I work on staff at Appleton Alliance where I get to do what I love best; encourage and serve the women of our church.
Bonnie Costello — Women's Special Events Coordinator
I have been coordinating special events for Women’s Ministries for many years and became an official staff member in July of 2012. With a background in food service and home economics, I feel very blessed to be able to serve the Lord in the areas He has gifted me. I have been attending Appleton Alliance for over 30 years ~ and when I am not planning special events, I love to spend time with my grown children and grand daughter!
Cristen Gregorius — Adult Ministries Marketing & Communications Administrator
My passion for marketing has fueled my desire to connect women with God. Having once been lost myself, I have a heart for seeing women get connected to God through relationships and a local community of believers. I grew up in the Green Bay area, but spent 10 years in Pennsylvania where I finished my undergraduate degree and met my husband. Soon after, God called us back to the Fox Valley Area where we now have fun raising our two daughters, enjoying outdoor activities, and visiting with friends.
Andrea Malnar • Administrative Assistant to Adult Ministries
I'm Andrea Malnar and I am the woman behind the curtain when you register online. I do my best to manage all of the systems behind the scenes to get you registered for studies and events in Women's Ministry. I'm married to Chris with two children and have two small dogs. I enjoy music, movies and spending time with people. Feel free to stop by the office sometime and play with the bucket of toys at my desk.
